Reasons getting sick after the holidays is great (or 10 ways to cheer myself up after a day of feeling crummy):
- Extra holiday pounds…gone!
- Cleanse to rid body of all the excess sugar and alcohol consumed during the holidays…done!
- Time to practice that resolution of self-care.
- Practice at taking time off.
- Catching up on random projects that got tossed by the wayside pre holiday madness.
- Reminder that daytime television is really bad and not worth wasting time on.
- Time to finish the book that has been sitting untouched for the last two weeks.
- Time to catch up on sleep.
- Lots of long baths taken (so what if they were to clear my sinuses).
- Something to write about for my blog.
