Despite the fact that I have been excessively researching fire escape gardening and how to successfully grow a miniature lemon tree in my Brooklyn apartment, winter is still making herself known.

IMG_0571I love snow, I really do. I especially love the view outside my bedroom windows when it is snowing. Had it been December or January, I would have been swooning over this view. Now that it is March and my down coat is in desperate need of dry cleaning, as in, I am utterly disgusted by it every time I have to put it on in need of dry cleaning, I am not so in love with this view. Still, I cannot deny the beauty of the snow or the serenity of walking through my neighborhood amidst the quiet that only descends after a major snowfall.

About djunapassman

I teach yoga, write, and edit. I live in a Brooklyn neighborhood that is changing faster than I can, or care to, keep up with. It's basically gentrification at its finest. Manhattan still beckons me to her island a few subways stops away, reminding me of when I lived amongst her daily hustle and bustle.
